There are 28 teachers in Fisheries School, among whom 11 have senior titleswhich includes professors and associate professors,twoleadinglecturersof researchand technologyhonoredbyHenan EducationalDepartment, andtwoleadinglecturersof researchand technologyhonoredbyXinyangadministration.Thelecturersof the school joined and completed 23 research projects, undertook 23 research projects at provincial level and published 206 academic articles.

Experimental Labs andBases:

The schoolhas 16 professional laboratoriesand biological and one technological center for fishing industry at the city level and the provinciallevel, respectively; one vocational education base at thenationallevelinside the school;onesample room foraquatic organism, and also 20 off-campusexperimentalbases,the value of all the experimentalmachinesamountsto 8.35millionYuan.

Undergraduates:

Since 2002, thepassingrate of students taking part inthe Entrance Examinationof Master-Degreeis about 75%;thedemanding ratio between the employer companies and the graduates of this school are3.5:1, therefore their students are warmly needed in society.
