Faculties :

There are23staff members, includingoneprofessor,threeassociate professors; three of them have doctorate degrees and 22 with master’s degrees. Oneof the lecturers form the school is the Branch member of the national Horticulture (Tea-Science included) Teaching Guidance Committee. The lecturers have participated for many a time in the Famous-Tea Appraisal Meetings and Vocational Technical Competitions and Tea-Performance Competitions as authority members across the country.

Experimental Labs andBases:

The schoolofferstea culturecourses, and having a tea teaching office, ateacultureand marketingsection, and atea research center.There area number ofexperimental laboratories, such astheteachemical andinspectionlab,thetea-qualityevaluationlab,the tea molecular biological lab,themechanization of theXinyang Maojian Tea processing workshop,and so on.

The school has played a leading role in the StrategyAlliance for Tea IndustryandInnovation in Henan Province, as well astheEngineering and Technological Center for theXinyang Maojian Teaof the Higher Educational Institutions.

Undergraduates:

There is also a society for tea-service etiquettes and a performance team by the students. The students’teaetiquetteperformance teamhaswonthefirst prizesfor three times,thesecond prizestwicein theNationalTeaEtiquettePerformance Competition. The Society for Tea-service Etiquettehas won thehonorabletitle of 100 Excellent Students’Societies.
