On July 27th to 30th, our university opened a training course to the new teachers who joined this university in 2021. Invited professors from different universities gave their seminars to the new teachers on teaching methods. Yang Yunfei, associate professor from Henan University, gave a special report on how to become a good teacher; Professor Chen Xunwei from Wuhan University gave a semianer entitled “Ideological and political courses and first-class course construction”. Seminars from other professors were about specific teaching strategies, teaching methods and teaching skills. The new teachers all agreed that the training course was rewarding and they have learnt much knowlwdge on methodology. They were also greatly encouraged and were looking forward to having their teaching posts.
